INVITATION FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
No.1 (EoI) of 2006-2007

                        On behalf of the Governor of Mizoram, Expression of Interest is invited from renowned consultancy firm for preparation of Master Plan for Sports Complex at Aizawl. Interested firm may submit their E.O.I. to the undersigned giving the following information

1.                  Experience on similar type of Projects

2.                  Qualification and experience of key personels

3.                  Structure and organization of the firms

4.                  Financial status of the firm

5.                  Any additional points

                        The scope of work will include preparation of master plan of the area, Architectural design of stadium and planning of the surrounding traffic and road network.

                        On the basis of the above information selected firms shall be short listed who will be required to furnish further information for final selection.

                        The expression of Interest shall be received up to 5:00 pm of 25^th  day of September, 2006 by the undersigned.

                                    Government of Mizoram is planning to construct Sports Complex at Aizawl at the site to be vacated by Assam Rifles. For this purpose the 12^th Finance Commission of India has agreed to provide Rs.25 crores. First instalment of Rs.6.25 crores is already released.

                                    The facilities and component to be included in the complex will depend on the sufficiency of site availability. Apart from the sports complex, planning of the roads network adjacent to the complex will also be required. It is therefore require to first have a complete master plan of the area. There after details of the stadium and other components will be designed. For this purpose expression of interest is invited from renowned consultancy firms, who has experience in similar types of projects. Interested firms are invited to furnish the following information. Base on the information furnish, evaluation shall be made by giving weightages as given below.
